Play real cards with anyone

Point a top-down camera at your play area and your opponent watches your side of the table live. The desktop app overlays health and status trackers on the video so both players always see the state of the game. You play your own cards.

Why players love Riftbound

Riftbound brings League of Legends champions to the table, and its battlefields force both players to fight over the same ground. Instead of two people playing side by side, every turn is about contesting, holding and scoring, which keeps the game interactive from start to finish. Players who want more depth than an entry-level card game often point to that constant interaction as the reason they stay.

Matchmaking

Quick Match in the desktop app pairs you with another player, lobbies let you invite a friend, and Looking for Group helps you find someone to play. Webcam matches feed your online record and rating.

Riftbound pack and decks

The Riftbound pack includes a searchable catalog of 1,180 cards, a rules reference and tracking. The web deck builder lets you create and manage deck lists. The catalog is a lookup aid for the cards you already own.

Events and shop play

Organizers can run Tournament: Online Play over webcam or Tournament: Local Play at a shop. At a local event, players use the web companion on their phones to track the game and report results.

Rankings

Riftbound has its own ELO rating and leaderboard, with online and shop results tracked separately and combined into one profile with achievements. A leaderboard is a good way to find regular opponents and see who else in the community is playing.

What a match looks like

Each player sets up on their own table, and the app shows the live feed with the points for each side tracked on screen, including multiplayer free-for-all. The first player is picked at random, so the opening is settled instantly. You handle your own cards as you would at a shop, and your opponent follows along on video.

What you need to start

Bring your deck, a clear play area and a webcam positioned above it, then install the free Windows desktop app. Sign in, choose Quick Match or a lobby, and your opponent sees your table when the match begins. Every card on the table is your own.

Why play over webcam

A card game grows fastest when people can find opponents. Webcam play lets you meet players beyond your local shop and keep playing with real cards, while the catalog and rules reference are there when a card interaction needs checking.
