Find opponents

Quick Match in the desktop app pairs you with another player, lobbies let you invite a friend directly, and Looking for Group helps you find someone to play when your usual group is offline. Webcam matches count toward your online record and rating.

Lorcana pack and decks

The Lorcana pack provides a searchable catalog of 2,960 cards, a rules reference and tracking. You can build and manage decks in the web deck builder. The catalog is a lookup aid for your own collection, not a replacement for it.

Tournaments, online and in person

Organizers can run Tournament: Online Play over webcam, or Tournament: Local Play at a shop, with the Standard format supported. At a local event, players report their own results from their phones using the web companion, and the bracket updates as the round finishes.

Leaderboards

Lorcana has its own ELO rating and leaderboard. Your profile combines your record and achievements, with online and shop results tracked separately.

Lore tracking

Lorcana is tracked differently from most card games, because the goal is to gain lore rather than lose life. The Lorcana setup counts lore as a tracker, so both players can see how close each side is to winning. The app also picks the first player at random, so nobody has to argue about who starts.

What you need to start

Bring your deck, a clear play area and a webcam positioned above it, then install the free Windows desktop app. Sign in, choose Quick Match or a lobby, and your opponent sees your table when the match begins. Every card on the table is your own.

Why play Lorcana over webcam

Lorcana has a great deal to look at: characters in play, items, locations and which cards are exerted. A camera above your playmat shows your opponent the whole state of your side of the table, which a text chat or a screenshot cannot match.
