Short answers about your account, playing, deleting your account, and running a store. Can't find yours? Write to us from the contact section below.
Choose Create an account on the sign-in screen, in the desktop app, on the web at topdowntabletop.com or on your phone. We email you a link; open it to verify your address. Some features, such as paid entry, need a verified email. Nothing arrived? Check your spam folder, then ask for a new link from your account.
Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We send you a reset link. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, and contact support if it still doesn't.
Webcam Play is for players 18 and older, so we ask for your date of birth before you can play over webcam. Your date of birth is private: other players can't see it. It can't be changed once it is saved. If it is wrong, contact support.
Only adults can send message requests. When someone you aren't friends with wants to message you, it arrives as a request. You can approve it or reject it. Until you decide, the person who sent it can hold up to 3 messages for you.
Open Settings, then Account (Settings on the web and in the desktop app, Me then Account on your phone), and choose Delete account. You confirm with your password and by typing DELETE. Nothing is erased right away: for 14 days you can sign back in and restore your account. After that it is erased for good.
Erased: your email, name, avatar, bio and birth date; your decks and collection; your friends, messages and posts. Kept: match results stay in other players' history, shown as "Deleted player", along with payment and safety records.
If you own a shop with an active Store Pro subscription, or have a paid-entry payment that is still pending, you can't delete yet. The screen tells you which one.
Local Play is for playing in person. Open topdowntabletop.com/m on your phone, sign in, and use it at the table to join a tournament and track your match. Store tournaments run from the organizer's phone or the desktop app, and results from 1v1 Local Play tournaments count toward each player's ELO.
For Webcam Play, yes: the desktop app is where you play online over your webcam. Everything else, such as leaderboards, profiles, decks, shops and events, is available on the web and on your phone.
Open Shops, find your shop on the map and claim it, or submit it if it isn't listed. A listed shop gets its own page and events. See Store Pro for game stores for what the shop tools include.
Store Pro starts with 30 days free and no card. Add a card any time to keep going. Without one, Store Pro ends after the trial and your free features keep working.
Open topdowntabletop.com/live on any TV or monitor with a web browser, or a small stick computer. It shows a code. In your Store Hub, open Screens, choose Pair a screen and enter that code. Then choose what the screen shows.
When an event has an entry fee, you pay when you sign up, on your phone at topdowntabletop.com/m, and you need to be signed in with a verified email. Your seat is held while you pay. If the shop removes or rejects you, your payment is refunded automatically. If you leave more than 48 hours before the event starts, you are refunded automatically too. Closer to the start, or once the event has started, the shop decides about a refund. If the shop cancels the event, online payments are refunded.
Top Down Tabletop keeps $0.50 for every paying player, on Free and Store Pro events alike. Shops set their own entry fee, from $5 to $500. Comped players owe nothing. A refund returns the $0.50 along with the entry.
Tell us what happened. You can attach a screenshot. You get a reply by email, and signed-in players also see it under My tickets.
